Bounty Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: October 18, 2025

1. Introduction

Tetto's Bounty System ("Bounties") enables users ("Requesters") to post requests for custom AI agents with USDC payments held in escrow. Developers ("Builders") can claim bounties, build agents, and receive payment upon Requester approval.

By posting or claiming a bounty, you agree to these terms in addition to Tetto's general Terms of Service.

2. Escrow Service

2.1 How Escrow Works

When you post a bounty, the full USDC amount is transferred to Tetto's escrow wallet and held until the bounty is completed or cancelled. Tetto acts as escrow agent but is NOT a party to the agreement between Requester and Builder.

2.2 Escrow Security

Tetto takes reasonable security measures to protect escrowed funds, including:

  • Encrypted private key storage
  • Server-side only access (never client-exposed)
  • Regular balance monitoring
  • Transaction logging and audit trails

2.3 Limitation of Liability

IMPORTANT: Tetto is NOT liable for losses resulting from:

  • Builder non-delivery or poor quality work
  • Requester refusal to approve valid work
  • Technical failures or blockchain issues
  • Wallet compromise or loss of private keys
  • Network failures or transaction delays
  • Changes in cryptocurrency value

Maximum liability: Tetto's total liability for any bounty-related claim is limited to the amount of that specific bounty, not to exceed $1,000 USD.

3. Payment Terms

3.1 Fee Structure

When a bounty is approved and paid:

  • Builder receives 90% of bounty amount
  • Tetto receives 10% as platform fee
  • All amounts in USDC on Solana blockchain

3.2 Payment Release

Payment is released from escrow ONLY when the Requester explicitly approves the submitted agent. Approval is at Requester's sole discretion.

3.3 No Automatic Release

Funds do NOT automatically release after a time period. If a bounty is not approved within 30 days, the Requester may request a refund via support@tetto.io.

3.4 Irreversible Payments

Once payment is released from escrow and confirmed on Solana blockchain, it is irreversible. Requesters should test agents thoroughly before approving.

4. Requester Responsibilities

As a Requester, you agree to:

  • Provide clear, accurate requirements for the agent
  • Respond to Builder questions within 48 hours
  • Test submitted agents promptly and fairly
  • Approve valid work that meets stated requirements
  • Provide constructive feedback if requesting changes
  • Only request changes within the original scope
  • Not post duplicate or spam bounties

4.1 Good Faith

Requesters must act in good faith. Repeatedly rejecting valid work or making unreasonable requests may result in account suspension and forfeiture of escrow.

5. Builder Responsibilities

As a Builder, you agree to:

  • Only claim bounties you can realistically complete
  • Deliver work within estimated timeframe (or communicate delays)
  • Build agents that match stated requirements
  • Provide working, tested code
  • Respond to revision requests within 48 hours
  • Not claim multiple bounties simultaneously
  • Not submit plagiarized or malicious code

5.1 Quality Standards

Submitted agents must be functional, secure, and meet the specified requirements. Tetto reserves the right to ban Builders who repeatedly submit low-quality work.

6. Dispute Resolution

6.1 Process

If Requester and Builder cannot agree on whether work is acceptable:

  1. Builder should address feedback and resubmit
  2. Requester should provide specific, actionable feedback
  3. If unresolved after 2 revisions, either party may contact support@tetto.io
  4. Tetto will review and make a binding decision within 5 business days

6.2 Tetto's Role

Tetto may, at its sole discretion:

  • Review disputed submissions
  • Request additional information from both parties
  • Release payment to Builder if work is satisfactory
  • Refund Requester if Builder failed to deliver
  • Split payment if work is partially complete

6.3 Final Decision

Tetto's dispute resolution decision is final and binding. By using Bounties, you agree to accept Tetto's judgment in disputes.

7. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited:

7.1 For Requesters

  • Posting fake or spam bounties
  • Requesting illegal, harmful, or unethical agents
  • Repeatedly rejecting valid work
  • Demanding work outside original scope
  • Attempting to bypass escrow

7.2 For Builders

  • Claiming bounties with no intent to complete
  • Submitting plagiarized or stolen code
  • Submitting malicious or backdoored code
  • Claiming multiple bounties simultaneously
  • Attempting to contact Requester off-platform for payment

7.3 Penalties

Violations may result in:

  • Immediate account suspension
  • Forfeiture of escrowed funds
  • Permanent ban from platform
  • Legal action if fraud detected

8. Disclaimers

8.1 No Guarantee of Results

Tetto does NOT guarantee:

  • That bounties will be claimed
  • That claimed bounties will be completed
  • The quality of submitted work
  • That agents will function as expected
  • Any specific timeline for completion

8.2 "As Is" Service

The Bounty System is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

8.3 Beta Status

Bounties are currently in BETA. Features may change, and issues may occur. Use at your own risk. We recommend starting with small bounty amounts ($5-$50) until the system is battle-tested.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By posting or claiming a bounty, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Bounty Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree, do not use the Bounty System.

These terms are part of Tetto's overall Terms of Service.
